Life Drawing Sketches
Added 2025-04-11 20:26:15 +0000 UTCHow lucky am I? That same model I told you about in the previous post modelled AGAIN at the drop in life drawing class. I was able to attend and give my full attention to drawing her poses, without having to teach!
This session was a range of 1min, 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins and one 35 min. Of course you know I didn’t draw one image for 35 minutes… I like to move around the room and draw the same pose from different angles. There’s so much to learn about the figure and the pose when you view it from different perspectives.
Have you been to a live life drawing class recently? What are you pros and cons?

2025-04-14 13:52:16 +0000 UTCAhh I love the foreshortening in the first pictures Gillian! You can tell you enjoyed drawing her a lot. The other day I went to a life drawing class and I did the same with those longer poses, I tried to change perspectives, and found that really helpful and fun.
