This is my favorite page. To be honest - vulnerability music plays - I didn't know what is the story I am working on until this moment. I’ve been in a writer’s block for about 11 months, with no more scripted pages for artwork, and watching my page buffer approaching its end, when this page came out LAST moment. - music ends.

A detour from a too-complicated-to-draw fight scene gave me a plot idea to fix the gap I had in future events of the story. Thanks to my imperfection I now have a story that works.

This method of self-publishing can be stressful and the make or break for any project, especially if you struggle with the anxiety-perfectionism-procrastination triforce of disaster like me, BUT the pressure generated by it sure is a moving force.

If I ever get Slimy Thief off the ground to someplace good, I’m happy to know that I have everything documented reminding me that I can do it and how.

Like in RPGs videogames, when stuck in their quest, the heroes wander from one location on the map to another and talk to every other NPC for clues, while fighting many random encounters, gathering the XP, and developing skills. Then when they finally find the solution for the puzzle that unlocks the block, they have enough skill, not to just continue the quest, but also smite the next enemy boss and a good chunk of what has yet to come with much less grinding.
