Modular Ninja Dojo (17x22) & Rooms

Good morning! June's map theme poll came up as Eastern & Oriental Structures, so for the first week I thought I'd do the specific request that was made - a ninja temple/dojo!

Of course, this gave me a bit of a headache, since ninja dojos have very little historical basis, so I hacked something together from certain other sources and popular fantasy. This should be usable as any kind of dojo, though; it's just got a lot of hidden compartments.

Variants

• Supporter: The Supporter variants include day, night, evening, and rainy versions of the dojo, with associated lighting; grids optional. Greyscale maps of the dojo are also included.
• Enthusiast: There are no Enthusiast variants this time, strictly speaking, but what there is is every single room from the dojo cut out and made into individual tiles for you to put together however you please! There's also versions of the normal dojo map provided with the interior stripped out, leaving a blank canvas for you to build on if you'd like to use the exterior map provided; otherwise, you could assemble them entirely separately in Roll20 or another VTT in any way you want! A demonstration of the room tiles is provided in the splash images above; they work quite well, I think. To facilitate the room-building, I exported the wall and door/merger assets early and adjusted them for use in VTTs, so you don't have to wait for the monthly asset pack to start with them!
• Benefactor: The Benefactor package comes with a bunch of extra rooms, some of which didn't make it into the 'default' dojo and some of which were made as fancy extras. You also get a spike-pit hallway, a spike pit token, the prototype room I put together to test the map concept, and a few other bonuses!

Notes

This was an interesting experiment. I'm not sure I like drawing all the rooms separately like this; it means it's very difficult to synchronize the hue of the room lighting, and I also can't paint over the walls since they wouldn't blend together if I did that. But the end result is pretty fun. I wish I had the time to decorate the yard, though.

I ended up exporting all of the separate room parts with and without baked-in lighting. The lighting looks better than without, but it's easier to blend extra furniture in without it, if you want to add some, and the walls stick out a bit less as being obviously unshaded (because, as above, if they were shaded, they wouldn't blend with each other!)

Speaking of that, if you'd like early access to the furniture assets before the monthly pack is launched at the end of June, you can just ask, of course.
