Augh, my back. I mean, good morning! Febuary's Patron map theme poll turned out as 'cold mountains', so that's what we're doing this month. This week's map is a cold stream running down a rocky mountain. It actually isn't much of a steppe at all, but I only just realized that as I was typing this. Oh well.
Out here in the wilderness, you never know what you're going to find. This spot could be ripe for an ambush, or simply as the place to spot the beast you've been tracking down. The old stone circle provides for a ley-line, a ritual, or an elemental's favored place.
I'd advise having combat run from the bottom-left corner to the top-right corner for an even greater distance, but I'm pretty sure most people play 5e with its weird diagonals-count-as-one-tile rule, so that's not actually any greater a distance than it would be with 3.5e's rules unless you're into house rules.
Anyways, onto variants...
The map is 36x36 tiles big, or 3,600 pixels squared, at 100ppi. The free version is attached
above! If you've got any questions or comments or requests or just want to yell at me, feel free to ask or yell at will like usual, and have a good week.
It's Febuary now, so new posts are being tagged only with the new tiers. They're basically identical to the old ones, except the prices have been adjusted (and made cheaper) for the new monthly charge scheme. You'll have to manually switch over to the new tiers to access the archives from here on out! Sorry for the inconvenience.
This shouldn't affect you if you're already on the (3.75)/(7.50)/(11.25)/month tiers. If it does, yell at me, because that's a problem.
