2025-11-04 01:14:31 +0000 UTCI do love Viracroix as a character - his lineage and position alone put him squarely in a "lawful evil" alignment, but instead of being an arrogant noble, his intelligence taught him to be kind to his underlings, as happy subjects are eager, devoted, and most of all loyal. And while this likely started as cold calculation, he does genuinely seem to care about his people. And I'm not even counting Ran, I can't recall whether it was mentioned how long they've known each other, but it wouldn't surprise me if they have been friends since childhood.
