First things first: we're actively commissioning artists to replace all AI-generated images with fully hand-drawn art. This transition will take time, so visual inconsistencies are expected while the process is ongoing.
To help with this, there’s now a toggle in the settings to switch between:
Drawn Art – Our new default. Reflects the intended style and tone of the game.
AI Art – Still available for those who prefer it. It’s often more detailed and consistent for now, and we recognize its place in the project’s history.
We do not plan to remove AI-generated art entirely. Some players prefer it, and we want to honor the journey this project has taken — but from this update forward, Drawn Art will be the default setting.
As always, nothing in this build is final, and your feedback continues to shape the game’s direction.

🎨 Drawn Art Progress
We're gradually phasing in fully drawn art. Here's what’s currently in the game and what’s in the works:

Expect updates as more sets are completed and added over time.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Fixed numerous issues, including a major one where large numbers of fights on the same save file would cause massive save file bloat (and not in a fun way).
Other minor stability and performance improvements.
🌿 New Gathering Skill: Foraging
Search the wilds for edible resources that don’t run away.
Occasionally, you’ll find rare or unusual ingredients — if luck’s on your side.
🍳 New Crafting Skill: Cooking
Use ingredients to prepare food with a variety of effects.
Add boosters to modify meals — some simple, some complex... and some probably just bad ideas.
Experiment freely. Some of the best combos might be hidden behind the worst mistakes.
🏗️ New Crafting Skill: Construction
Build permanent upgrades using gathered materials — finally, a use for all that stone you’ve hoarded.
Includes structures that generate passive XP and bonus Gold over time.
⚔️ New Combat Mechanics: Multiple Enemies
Certain encounters now include sequential or supporting enemies who can complicate a fight just by showing up.
New skills and effects directly interact with this system — you’ll need to adapt.
🌍 New Zone: The Savannahs of Phanelyn
Explore a harsh, sun-scorched land where nomadic tribes follow a colossal divine elephant across the plains.
Unique culture, environment, and gameplay challenges.
👹 New Enemies
Hera’s Company: Ruthless mercenaries for hire
Vagabonds: Drifters and opportunists of the open scrublands
Watering Hole Inhabitants: Local fauna and flora that do not like visitors
🛡️ New Equipment
Many new weapons and items now drop from enemies.
Several feature unique skills that can radically change your combat style.
🌀 New Combat Skills & Status Effects
Dozens of new skills added, along with a variety of new status effects.
Some are familiar (e.g., Silence), others... less so. (What exactly does Space Shortening do?)
🧑🤝🧑 New NPCs
Meet the business-savvy matron of the Guildhall.
Trade goods with a sharp-tongued vampire running the trading post.
...and many others with their own stories and secrets.
