New story concept

This is Kim, last time we saw her, she was in the back of the APC in actual rescue party, after a pretty disastrous rescue mission ("Rescue Party"). She is doing a lot better now, ready to go back into the field.
Evie is not ready yet so she decided to go out on her own this time, for a quick and easy assignment.

I read a story a long time ago, in which a female insect plants the eggs inside the female host's body cavities, and the slime residue is what attracts the males to come along later to fertilize them. It'd be fun to see here get the eggs in her, then escape and think she's safe, then get a second round as a couple males find her.
