Hello Everyone, First off, my bad for the radio silence these past couple of weeks. Honestly, I didn’t have much to show or tell because I’ve been knee-deep reworking the prologue. I promised to focus on the story, and that’s exactly what I’ve been up to—rewriting, tweaking, and polishing it.
But that’s not all! I went all out and revamped everything: the sprites, the CGs, and even parts of the UI and storyline. Don’t worry, though—the core concept and characters remain the same. It’s like taking the OG Dystopian Abyss and giving it a steroids. And yep, I’m still keeping the two art styles: Realistic and Anime.
Speaking of changes, the MC’s finally got a face! (Check it out in the attachment)
On the gameplay front, I’m scrapping the grindy mechanics and shifting the focus to the story. That said, I’m brainstorming ways to make the muscle growth system more engaging—maybe even fun. Think less "click and wait" and more... mini-games? (Keyword: maybe. NO PROMISE!)
The characters you know and love? They’re staying exactly the same—names, traits, the works. But trust me, they’ll feel more polished. Cybele, for instance, might get a personality boost. She’s still adorable, but I’m thinking a little sassier, a little sharper.
Oh, and the map system is making a comeback! It won’t be a carbon copy of the old one, but I’m cooking up something fresh. Stay tuned to see how it pans out.
