Chapter 1. Starlight Brings Home a Fan

In the land of superheroes, wherever crime was, a reporter would be there, and wherever a reporter was, a super would be there too. Everybody had their eyes on the supes, the chosen ones that were granted extraordinary abilities like flying or super speed. The non-special could only dream of shaking the hand of their favorite hero, but Max, lucky Max, was about to have a one-on-one with Starlight. Starlight was the newest member of The Seven. If Max was an average person, then meeting her would have never been possible, but Max also had powers. "I was thinking a signature, but maybe another time," Starlight said, noticing that she was falling behind the other supes.

Before Max could say anything else, a bodyguard pushed him back, leaving him without a signature or the chance to show Starlight his power. Without thinking, Max made a quick move to shrink and chase after the supe. He caught up and then sneakily hid inside Starlight's purse when no one was looking.
