Incredible album! Went to a festival in London last year which was supposed to be Erykah Badu heading and also Madlib was there doing a dj set but on the day Erykah cancelled so there was no headliner, Madlib calls Freddie Gibbs who’s at Heathrow airport because they had been doing 10th anniversary of this album tour dates the day before - Freddie Gibbs comes back to headline the night alongside Madlib and they just do the whole album through - fucking incredible night, although not sure the Erykah badu fans were digging it quite as much as me lollll

What a classic! Freddie and Odd Future came up at the same time in LA and were friends, probably through Mac. They had the same type of humor and Freddie was even on their show Loiter Squad like ten years ago.
