I observe from the window of my study the four shady people approaching my home, convinced that they are hiding in the darkness of the twilight and hoping to plunder my secrets.
Poor deluded.
They have no idea what torments await them in my small but well-defended tower.
A high tower on a cliff, where a magician lives, intent on his studies and experiments.
This is a classic, but the classics are always the best, and so here is the archmage's tower, built on the rocks, consisting of four floors, one of which is underground, where the small stream flows into.
Alternate versions have differences in layout or in atmospheric and environmental conditions.
