Welcome back! Little late in the day, but late is better than never, right??
Final Assets: We got a huge chunk of complicated assets rendered out over last week, thanks to just a heap of free time that cleared out in our end-of-month schedule! In addition to the background work, we finished the rendering of the base images for all the characters, which will come in a later update! We only have two more backgrounds to complete, and we'll move into the next chonky part of production...character rigging.
For those uninformed, rigging is typically a 3D term referencing the creation of a skeletal structure to enable assets to move. I'm commandeering it as a 2D term because I'm not entirely sure what the technical term is for making dozens of subtle body and facial variants and then exporting those combinations for game use, so...Rigging it is! Sound off in the comments if you're more knowledgeable in game design than I am! (you probably are) XD

That's probably enough update for now. As stated we're still working on the final renders for the backgrounds, which will lead into "rigging", and then finalizing all the code stuff! Thanks as always for bearing with us, and supporting the project! See you Friday!
