Another week, another attempt at keeping everyone up to date with the VN progress!

Storyboarding: We have the story in a semi-cohesive state. The part of the game we're working on at this point is technically the Prologue, which means my design goal is to teach folks how to play the game, while simultaneously establishing the stakes for the rest of the game. With that in mind, I don't want this part of the game to take too long, but I also don't want it to be too short. We're looking for that Goldilox Zone, and when we find it, we'll be ready to draft the final script...

Rough Assets: To better establish what I would need for the location of the prologue, I designed a rough draft of Quintessa's Tower/Keep, now officially referred to as Dominus. I love simple-yet-punchy titles, so that one'll probably stick for me. There's a lot of rooms inside Dominus because, again, I want it to feel like a real place without feeling like you're gonna spend the whole game here, cause...well, you're not.
Shhh, I've said too much already!

That's probably enough update for now. My goal for next week is to have all the rooms roughed out like this, and coded so that you can navigate the entire building in Ren'Py. Until then, see ya Friday!
