Regarding Patreon Changes
Added 2017-12-07 23:03:33 +0000 UTCRegarding the changes Patreon are making to their platform, I will be lowering tier price in accordance - specifically the 2.50 tier will be lowered to 2.00, and the 5 tier, will be lowered to 4.50. These changes will come into effect on the 20th of this month.
Frankly, I'm hoping that the massive amount of negative feedback Patreon has received in the wake of announcing these changes will cause them to change their mind, this seems ill conceived and overall a bad move for creators and patrons alike. I've sent my own little complaint, and I hope that together, we can continue making this community awesome.

In their email they stated that fees currently are 5%, but were changing to 2.9%+ a 35 cent charge per pledge. Pledges with lower costs, say 2.50, would have had a 12-13 cent fee. The proposed fee would be 2.9%, so 7 cents plus the 35 cent fee; the total would be 42 cents; over three times more than before. I figured most content creators would raise their prices to compensate. There's always the possibility, though, that I've misinterpreted their email ^^

2017-12-07 23:14:44 +0000 UTCI was very concerned when I read their email this morning; I have't looked into it too much, but from simple maths in my head I figured lower pledges like your 2.50 tier would require a higher fee than before, which is absolutely ludicrous in my mind. Maybe higher tiers would see less of a fee in general, but I don't know. I was actually prepared for you to slightly raise your prices, and would have absolutely understood and kept pledging. Hopefully their changes don't cause too much of an issue 3:
