Moontouched - Chapter 2 - Devlog #3
Added 2025-09-05 06:54:59 +0000 UTCA quick in-person devlog to update you guys on a change to the release plan for Chapter 2 of the project. I'll be releasing the first third of the game as it's own build before moving on to the remaining parts. This is due to a downward shift in my health over the past few months, and I go into some of the detail of that here in this video! Thank you for your time and support!
TLDR: I'm changing up the release scopes for Chapter 2 due to delays caused by ongoing health issues. Instead of releasing the first half of Chapter 2, I'll be releasing the first third before continuing on with the rest of the chapter. The first third is sitting around 40k works, roughly half of the first chapter. I touch in on some of the details of my health in the video as well.
Thank you greatly for your support here on Patreon, but please know that you can come and go as you need to. It feels important to say that I'm very grateful for your support, but I in no way expect it as things are moving slower due to my health. Feel free to come back for builds as they come around, stay on for the long haul, or anything in between. Whatever feels right.

Oh thank you! I don't think I would have caught the Youtube comment, hah. Thank you for the relation here, man. Always heartening to get words of encouragement from someone who also walks the hard path. My diet is very very restrictive as is, at the moment I can't eat a majority of the "GERD safe" foods, but luckily the carnivore diet is working well for me—despite being incredibly boring and very expensive -.- I'm excited to share more with you guys soon!

I really appreciate it. As for the merch, Arcbound is already cooking up ideas, hah. That said, I'm thinking of putting together a png pack of the sigils for people to use when ordering their own flasks if they'd like. I love the idea of shirts and hoodies—most likely down the line a bit!

As someone who deals with chronic back, neck, and hip pain, I can empathize. My husband deals with GERD as well and has to adjust his diet. He can’t drink coffee, eat certain foods, or take Advil. I hope these treatments give you some relief, and I’d recommend taking a look at your diet if you haven’t already. Looking forward to the first third of chapter 2! Also, nice face reveal 🤩

Oof, those issues sound pretty unfun to deal with and I hope you get that under control. Good news on avoiding the more serious issue though! Do take your time on this project; I intend to stick around for the long haul. Also, looking at that flask design, have you thought about offering merch? I've been using the wallpaper you put out a while back and it's gorgeous to look at, and there's definitely a lot of safe for work material in Moontouched that would look great as a minimalist shirt or hoodie design. Just food for thought! Take care!
