2024-03-26 06:11:19 +0000 UTCI would say something like, "This reminisces of a year and a half ago when I was underdressed and undersupplied for a 12-hour trek through the central Idaho wilderness. I'd planned a route up on trail and down another but both proved to be far more challenging and time-consuming than anticipated. The views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains were incredible. The trail lead me through some other-worldly rock formations before disappearing completely, leaving stranded and panicking, dehydrated and hungry, before finding a way down through the ravine to where the trail once again met with the map I had. The sun had already set long before I reach camp and made dinner. The journey was difficult, seemingly impossible at times and I spent the night writhing is agony from some sickness and starvation, but in the days that followed it became a legendary excursion through paths unknown that I shall tell about for the rest of my days." (this is a true story)
