Girls und Panzer is one of those... Labor of Love type shows. it was made with excitement for the subject matter and you can *feel* it. its a sports shonen, so yes, its just an elective like any other, and the "competition feel" is very important. but as you can probably guess, its really hard to A: explain what makes the show great and B: convince anyone to actually give it a shot, since most will dismiss it as "cute girls doing cute things with tanks" and give it meme status at best
