He never claimed to be the only one who could save the Eldians — in fact, he barely said anything at all. It seems like he simply used them as a means to achieve his goal. Whether the Yeagerists existed or not, I don’t think it would’ve made any difference to him. He was going to follow through with his plan either way. Ever since Season 4 began, we haven’t really had any insight into what he’s truly thinking.
