Added 2025-05-27 17:00:06 +0000 UTCThe ending of FNAF 4 always rocks me to my core, I know the whole “bite of 87” (actually 83) meme gets tossed around a lot, which can make the bite scene more funny
But I think we all get how tragic the whole scenario really is, I just can’t help but think of Dave himself. How despite having the nightmares and being afraid of the golden animatronics, he still considers his plushies of them his friends. He still watches their show, he still keeps them nearby, especially Fredbear
And in his dying state, he envisions them comforting him, saying sorry, and holding him close. I wanted to do a more guess bittersweet look of that sweet dream. Made the second panel very storybook like, with all his friends around him, and he gets to sleep not afraid anymore.
Just wanna say here sorry for all the angst lately BAHAH I’ve just been having fun at examining these more subtle moments in FNAF, trust me how much this makes yall sob I’ve sobbed just as much making it,, anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!!

2025-05-27 22:18:40 +0000 UTCI love this comic so much, it’s so peaceful, yet melancholy. He can finally be at some sort of peace, with his friends who never left his side. He feared the animatronics, but loved his plushies. He just wanted to be loved, yet Michael would torment him daily. The Afton family is toxic and dysfunctional. It hurts to see how much David suffered, as he was the punching bag Michael used to deal with his own problems. I believe the Foxy mask acted as Michael’s persona, making him feel tougher than he was. That’s why he wore it all the time. Outside of that, like David, he’s vulnerable too; he’s in pain, yet he doesn’t want to show it. I love the storybook element to this comic, it’s beautiful and demonstrates how David still has some of his childhood innocence in him. I wish we got more outside of fnaf 4 with him and Michael, but that’s what my AU is for lmfao
