So there’s this scene in a movie called “uptown girls” where the babysitter and the little girl, rides the tea cups together, may of seen the clips on TikTok seeing they go viral now and again

That scene really sticks with me, cause the movie real,y conveys the feeling of a new adult viewing their child self, the spinning being just a method of how life goes too fast etc

I really wanted to redraw that scene with Vanessa, cause I think it really fits her. Her life before her mother died, to what it is now due to that event, how it lead her right to becoming Vanny, getting stuck with Glitchtrap for years, etc

I think Vanessa (game or movie really) would mourn the little girl they use to be, and I think their relationships to being mothers to other kids, (Abby or Gregory) is a sort of way to reclaim some of that childhood again. Or at least try and save theirs, sees themselves within them. I adore Vanessa as a character and I don’t think she’s given enough credit of how well written she is, sure the game didn’t express it as well, but all the logs about her are so clear

I’m actually really happy with how this art turned out, something about it is so beautiful. The lights in the background, the hazy feel, the sorrow in Vanessa’s face as she gazes to her child self. It kinda makes me emotional, so I really hope you guys enjoy this comic too!! 🩵💜
