(Future Fragments) Progress Report #68

Also, people have asked often how they'll get access to the game after having backed for $20 or more, so I figure I should address that in this post.

When the game releases, we'll send out a questionnaire to your email that's linked to your Patreon account, if you're at $20 or above.

This questionnaire will ask what service you want the key on, or, if you're from Germany or China, if you want just a direct download of the game.

Then, we'll send the key off as soon as possible to you.

As in, it better be grandiose

Waiting for Dev report 69

We don't think it's beneficial, and we'd honestly rather wait, but we also want to get SOMETHING out there for you all to play, even if it's not complete. No offense taken of course, it's a genuine concern.

We'd have to update you manually through emails, yeah

just kinda curious, but if there are any patches/ updates to the game and we chose the direct download option, would you send out another link for the patch? or would you post it on patreon?

I'm just gonna buy it again on steam. I will say though, are you sure releasing it in an unfinished state is beneficial? You may risk an influx of negative reviews for coming out of the gate weak and ruining your financial gain. Wouldn't it be better to just delay it and gain more positive reviews and sales? Just making sure you're not shooting yourself in the foot trying to get it out to the market ASAP without voicework and missing cutscenes. Edit: I'm honestly not trying to be hypercritical of you or your decision. I'm just speaking as an ignorant consumer that from my end it seemed risky. You know your own situation better than I.
