I feel like the story that is told through the survival logbook gets greatly overlooked by the fact people couldn’t figure it out for like 5 years, which is a shame cause there’s so much interesting information in it
This one of the only piece of media we get where we actually learn who Michael is AS a person, his personality, what he thinks about everything that’s happened to him etc. Not only the but the few examples of Cassidy and David talking too, obviously in a very cryptic fashion but these are known important characters talking to one another.
From my eyes when reading through the story becomes clear, through this activity book Michael is given, he draws and writes in it during his shifts, in which he starts speaking and interacting with Cassidy. Cassidy’s goal is to help “the crying child” David, remember who he is even. Michael can see these messages too, at first you kinda assume that Michael can’t see these ghost writings, but when Cassidy asks “do you have dreams?” Michael actually replies by drawing out nightmare fredbear, could be the other way around too where Michael draws it and then Cassidy comments on it, but either way they are interacting with one another
It’s a real effort between them both to try and help David remember who he is, WHICH is super interesting, i obviously took a sorta funny route with this idea, where Cassidy is really trying to talk to just David here but Michael wants to participate too! He’s also seen the nightmares pff Very silly comic but ALL the ideas around it I do find interesting, I also especially love the first panel, something about it is very gentle and sincere. Cassidy is always characterized by fans to be vengeful and mean, but I always found her to be really kind actually and it’s because of this book. She wanted to help cc, help him pass on outside of her, and there’s something very sweet about it. Anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic 🩵💜
