Why the puppet say that (mini comic #363)

ITS BEEN A VERY very long time since I’ve draw Charlie, specifically her ghost form. I made it awhile ago, with a comic where she meets Abby. There’s no real reason I didn’t draw her again? Especially cause I do actually love this design I made for her, just don’t usually have any ideas for her, which I’m trying to change and include her more 🙏🏾

SIMPLE idea here, I really love how she talks im ultimate custom night, the fact she’s the only one who sounds like a child, all the other that kids only sound like the characters they were stuffed in, but she sounds like herself. Thats a very cool detail, cause I wouldn’t think the puppet would have such a baby like voice. So that proves right off the bat she’s been more aware than other ghost kids, BUT what’s funny to me how she basically insults them too. “The others are like animals, but I am very aware”

I think that’s just a case of a kid being blunt, and most easily gets across why she’s different but I hope the other ghost kids didn’t hear that BAHAH I don’t think Charlie means anything by it though, in the sense of insulting her friends, it’s more of a playful thing. After all she also says they are under her protection too, so she cares quite a bit. I haven’t just draw a ton of the ghost kids together so wanted to do it at least once, finally having some of the MCI kids as well, can see Susie there and a bit of Jeremy. My ideas is because they were stuffed into the suits, they are perpetually wearing masks of them in death, I like giving all the ghost kids specific quirks about them, so this felt fitting. We’ll see if I keep that at all next times ideas them, anyway I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜

WORKING really hard recently, I’m getting more comfortably ahead of schedule now, so I can start to do extra things more often! Really glad I’ve just hunkered down to do this, so hopefully expect more extra art in time! 💜💜
