I get asked quite a bit like “how would Michael react if he met his younger self” which I’ve always pondered, and finally turned into a full comic. Now with Mike Schmidt too!! Seeing I think they’d have two very different reactions BAHA

MIKE obviously knows his younger self just wanted some validation, comfort, etc, seeing how Mike still personally blames himself for what happened to his brother, makes it sorta clear to me his parents didn’t tell him enough or even at all that it wasn’t his fault. Especially seeing his father left him and Abby once Mike turned 18, makes it even more clear that Mike just didn’t have a good support system at the time. Meeting his younger self he’d just want to let him know, what he knows now, and that it wasn’t their fault for what happened

now on the other end with Michael-

LISTEN… I think Michael knows he was a problem child, but also aware he was only like that because of his awful father, etc, he was just acting out. So I actually don’t think he’d be mean to his younger self, he gets that enough from his father, BUT SIMILAR to how he talks to Gregory, he’s gonna be blunt with lil Michael here. Just telling him like it is, IF HE KEEPS being a jerk he will get scooped and become purple. It’s just the simple fact, I don’t know if young Michael would understand ANY of that but hey definitely leaves an impression PFF

THIS comic was fun to draw, I could of taken a fully serious route with this idea, but I like the angsty beginning to joke ending, tricking yall into think this will be way sadder, nah just showing the differences between Mike and Michael once again🩵💜
