Gift of Hedone: Basic Combat Information

I wanted to do some posts in preparation for the Playtest 001B (For Basic combat) so you know what to expect, and how things should work to hopefully better help identify bugs or provide feedback.
Standing Still & Moving whilst attacking

You will be able to attack in a stationary position, but also be able to move whilst attack so there is some more control in that regard.
Passing Through Enemies

You wont be able to simply walk through enemies, you to be able walk past enemies you will either need to jump, dash, or defeat them. This will become trickier if you start becoming surrounded by enemies. I don't want you to simply be able to just run away from enemies
Combat Zone vs Safe Zone

Safe Zones and Combat Zones will be indicated by these Street Signs and when in a safe Zone the Player HUD will hide. In a Safe Zone you should not be able to attack.
Strong vs Weak Indicator (For Now) + Enemy Health

If you hit an enemy that is weak against you, or one that is strong against you, you will get a visual indicator (this is on a cooldown so it wont trigger every time you hit them) - But it wont happen to you if you are hit.
Regarding Enemy Health, I have decided that other than bosses, regular enemies will not have a health bar, so you wont be able to necessarily get comfortable knowing one has almost fainted etc.
Fainting (No Animation Yet) - Symbols above the head

Right now you will just fall off the map similar to enemies, but I do plan to do a fainting animation. Enemies will have their Affinity and Subclass symbols above their head for now as its just the same enemy, so you will be able to identify when testing as your character will be an Earth Rogue whilst testing.

First of all great work on the attack system, the hits have a nice weight to them, i think you are on the right track with the combat system, that said i find a lil bit confusing the strong and weak pop up, since it originates from the enemy in my mind the pop up would say weak if the enemy is weak to it, maybe an other way would be to display the damage dealt with different fonts as now the weak and strong (numbers go brrrrt). this little thing aside you did a great job and i'm sorry i missed the other playtest (and be late on this one). always looking forward for the new updates <3
