Gift of Hedone: Poll - Elemental/Type Ailments

This is not something I have committed to yet just because of scope, but I still want to get your input in case I do explore it - of possible ailments each Type can effect the enemy and player.
These are the ailments I am thinking so far:
Fire - Scorched - Damage over time
Water - Chilled - Slower movement
Earth - Crushed - Reduced Defense
Light - Blinded - Reduced Accuracy
Starlight - Drain - Reduced Attack
These would have a chance to trigger through use of Abilities, and would be an additional benefit to level up abilities, increasing the chance and maybe the duration of the debuff
Nothing too flashy, but I just wanted to get your thoughts and opinions, and even possible suggestions on alternatives.

I have a idea. Hear me out. Fire = scorched = Damage over time Earth = Buried = reduced speed Water = Soaked = Reduced Defense Light = blinded = Reduced accuracy Cosmic = Confusion = Has a chance of harming themselves or others

2025-02-19 22:17:16 +0000 UTCWhat about a “Horny” status effect? It could cause you to maybe miss your attacks or be more susceptible to knock downs or something. There was another game I played Karryns Prison and it also had a horny status where it made it easier to trigger the H scenes in combat
