Gift of Hedone: Poll - Passives

Hello you Sexy Deviants,

I've been trying to think about Passives and how they should be "categorised" as such and wanting to gauge which you prefer?

1. Have Passives set on a subclass Level (Rogue, Warrior, Sorceror)
2. Have Passives set of a Elemental Level (Water, Fire, Earth, Light, Starlight)
3. A combination of 1 & 2

really appreciate you taking the time to give feedback :)

Jiggly Pixels

there is play style to consider with multiple variables you should be able to make each character unique and still keep them competitive. vs limiting yourself to one or the other. obviously, I'll be happy to see either if you choose one or the other. but I like the idea of both.

Jam

Oh OK, basically what u lv up to make urself stronger I get it, new answer C

Atomic_ luck

Thank you for the feedback my friend :)

Jiggly Pixels

it will be more complicated, but a combination of both (i guess) could be better for gameplay ^^

Hey Boom, You didn't misunderstand, the reason I want passives to be a bit more universal than character specific is that I want all characters to feel and be viable, rather than people end up picking one character because it's the only meta and viable option

Jiggly Pixels

Haha all good, that's on me. So those would be bonuses you would add such as increased attack, more defense, more HP etc

Jiggly Pixels

I appreciate the suggestion Frog man, so these would just be passives to stats such as attack, defense, ability cool down, lust bar generation πŸ™‚

Jiggly Pixels

These would be combat bonus to things like attack, cool down, defense etc

Jiggly Pixels

What kind of bonuses could a "passive" entail? Like different "fun cut scene" or action choices? If so I like that for classes.

Theseanspencer

What if it's a different guage depending on what you equip, kinda like what terraria does, if you unlock magic you get a mana bar or if you have an ability you have a cool down bar?

Frog man

I have no idea wtf a passive is BUT I choose B

Atomic_ luck

Or maybe I misunderstood something

boomshockalocka

Hmm, I imagine it would be more difficult to implement, but I figure passives should be based on the uniqueness of the companion. Rather than their class or element
