Class & Affinity Guilds & Churches - Mechanic

So the recent poll was pretty clear what you wanted to see - so the above is a mock up of an idea I had for the game and I want to get your opnion.
So to upgrade your abilities skill tree etc, you will also need to "upgrade", "donate" and "offer" to the guilds and churches. But you dont offer with... money.
What do you think? - The above example would be the Knight's Guild.
