Gift art I’ve just completed for Brian Reynolds of his Gloria OC. I seriously owed him this after he’s been so generous with his time and friendship. His art and early web pages were among the few I can count on one hand that drew me into what was more than an art genre, but a real fandom.

I’m evoking company swimsuit pinup calendars of the early 90s with this one. That unapologetic graphic design exuberance just never gets old - frankly we need it now more than ever. Listening to some Ozzy albums from around those years was timely for this piece. I’d love to know what music you hear over a piece like this.

Can you imagine this as a backlit ad on a wood grain box with ball chain pull switch hanging behind the cash register at a pizza parlor? Imagine one for auction at a furry con art show. That or it would be fun to assemble a calendar of these. Now I feel like playing Waverace this weekend.
