Sunset Cool Vixen - Final

This started as a sketch a couple weeks ago as a thank you for your support. I wanted to get something finished out to you soon. This was originally joining the Vixie fanart bandwagon, but she started to show some personality of her own so I let it become an OC. She is definitely more sly and more scheming.

I know warmer weather is just around the corner for most of us, so we’re all looking forward to those summery outfits. This has me wanting to make a necklace and loincloth just like hers.

The background was done quickly and was a chance to test a new quick method for palm fronds I’ll be needing on a few pieces in this future. I’m also working to improve my lighting with a softer shading method atop an otherwise cell shaded character. The key is not to over-render in some areas. I found myself erasing away some heavy handed shading to allow the sillouhette and forms to do their thing.

Enjoy some time in the sun with this one - I might produce some further alts with her.
