Yeah, I greatly enjoy working with references, and will use them if I happen to have one that matches what I want. Other times, I'll have an idea just come to me, already fully formed (mentally), and so I just use the idea I'm envisioning as my reference, so to speak. Which, those kind of renders are always a ton of fun to work on! Nothing quite like the feeling of having an idea come to you and bringing it to life :) Anyway, ramble aside, you did good on these! Keep it up :)

2022-08-01 22:57:01 +0000 UTCOh for sure! Posing is kinda hard for me too! Thanks very much! I've saved a lot of references for digital drawing but with these poses I kinda just go with what's in my head. Hopefully they translate OK here and in the future.

I don't know if this is relevant to FFXIV, but you should check out ArtStation. They sell (among other things) visual aid posing ref libraries, so you can see how various poses would actually look IRL
