Major Update (Please Read)

Hey guys, bit of a big update here. I'll have a TL:DR at the end but I'd appreciate a full read if you can 💚

So to just start right off, April will be free and the last month of this Patreon. I'm behind and for reasons to be stated below, I don't wanna charge anyone for another month as things are. I'll be getting Tifa out within the next week though. 

So, as most have you have probably heard, there's been an update to the Patreon ToS that has many of us artists in this community concerned about our future on this platform. As it mostly goes against what we specifically like to draw. I have heard several accounts downplay the severity of this change, however I can also see that the tide is pushing against us here either way. While I could stick around and wait things out, for this and a few other reasons I'll get in to, I'm deciding that after April I will be closing down this Patreon.

Aside from the ToS stuff that I just don't wish to have stress over, I personally have really struggled managing this Patreon and properly balancing my time. I like to hold myself to a certain standard, and I don't think I've been able to consistently meet it over the last year or so, which has caused me a lot anxiety and issues that have cascaded in to more projects falling aside or being pushed back. At numerous points I think I took on more things than I was equipped to, and for something people pay for, I'm just not okay not putting out something I feel like is below what I can offer. So I think with this ToS news coming up, it'd be for the best for me to close it off to realign myself instead stretching myself so thin. So to be clear, while the ToS change accelerated my leaving, it is not the sole reason for me doing so.

That said, I deeply, deeply appreciate any and all support people have given me here this last year or so. Especially during the months of August and September after my dog passed away and I lost my job. You will never know what that meant to me then. And I'm truly sorry if I haven't been able to meet anyone's standards or get pics out in time. 

I may be up to try this kind of thing again in the future, most likely on SubscribeStar, but that's for another day. In the short term, I'm gonna finish out the pics I wanted to make for you guys, that's why April will be free. Just a bit of catch up before I close up shop. I'm gonna make what I can for the support you guys have given me during this time.
