i myself have run into this. ive tried in both Riften and Windhelm to make peace with the stormcloaks but when i sit in the chain for the peace talks nothing happens :( perhaps it has to do with a mod editing the interior of windhelm/riften that might be my specific issue. will update as i find a way around it

after using a flying mod to travel all the roads very quickly I found one of my patrols out walking the roads, so I definitely just missed them before lol sorry! also: Is there supposed to be more than 1 patrol out at a time? just curious. I also run into the issue where the command to "Summon your troops for me" aren't always there for my commanders, as in the previous version :( i found it somewhat usefull when my commanders protecting Riften dont have their army patrolling with them. just a little something to maybe bring back in for a future update, but its looking real good right now thank you for all your hard work :D

So they *should* be at the locations on the war map where there are small banners of your faction but only when you are actually in those areas since the game does weird things with unloaded NPCs. However they also show up at the camp if you are also at the camp in case you need to find them. If you go to those spots where the war map has a small banner and you don't find any of your armies there then that is indeed a bug.

Are armies that are, for example, "Patrolling the Rift" supposed to actually patrol the roads? My commanders just gather at the Rift War Camp but I never actually see the warriors patrolling the roads. Is this a bug or just a feature that hasn't been implemented yet?

there were already some npcs from dragonsreach sitting on some of the chairs so I removed them, I then sat down but they just stood there

I started a Negotiation with the empire in Whiterun and waited until the next day, sat down at the table, but they just stand there and do nothing Update: They sat down, but they didn't speak so we just sat down and looked at eachother and I couldn't get up or anything like that. Update 2: It fixed itself idk what I did but the bug patched itself up, for now

Update: Still having some issues on 3.4 with the steward not speaking to me on the throne. I installed the new voice files, and reverted back to an old save before starting my faction. This time I chose a new Steward, Tolfdir, still no dialogue on the throne. Would it possibly help to make "hold court" a dialogue option for the steward? As sort of a debug dialogue option.

Excellent work! The blacksmith shoe bug is weird, I came back later and he was wearing them again. It's a strange one, and is random. It may happen eventually, it's strange. Only happens to the Smithe, anyway thanks.

I seem to be hitting an issue with 0.3.3 whereby after appointing someone as a steward I get in a loop of them talking to me non-stop and I can't exit. They also do not speak to me when I sit on the Whiterun throne (didn't have that issue in 0.3.2)

Bug 1: I have another bug to report since 0.3 meant to report earlier, I have 0.3.3 now. This bug is a bit silly, Blacksmiths at least in my case will unequip their shoes and be barefoot after a little while they unequip whatever they are wearing on their feet, after leaving the area and coming back it happens, only seems to happen with shoes as far as I've seen, or sometimes waiting I've noticed it with a few different blacksmiths it tends to happen over time they take them off and choose not to wear them lol. It can be random, another time I came back and he was wearing them again, how odd. -------------------------------------------- Bug 2: Another new problem that just happened after 0.3.2 I sent all my prisoners of war to prison but one it won't let me do anything with, a female Stormcloak commander, only option I have for her is set her free, no other dialogue options and prisons aren't full yet I can't transfer her it's like the system doesn't recognize her. I tried to, dialogue won't do anything when I try to free her. She just says thank you very much, my lord. Then still follows me, I can't get rid of her. We need maybe a power to force all prisoners to death which makes them killable and as an enemy, to wait, and follow, or be dismiss/freed any that follow which could maybe affect them all as a safety precaution, my suggestion anyway. Oh also noticed you can have a prisoner of war following you arrested by your guards. I'm gonna see if that solves my issue. EDIT: Seems to have solved my issue, after having one of my normal guards arrest her and sent for execution. That's good that problem is resolved then, this fixes it. EDIT AGAIN: NVM thought it fixed, after execution they don't die even after losing their head, seems I'm stuck with this woman. Used Disable command on her to delete her. ----------------------------------------------------------- Bug 3: EDIT 6:47PM Dec 28th Serious New Issue: After Jarl Elisif surrendered to me in Castle Dour the game forcibly made me sheath my weapons, and after either dialogue option to spare her guards or kill them I cannot redraw my weapons, or interact with any objects. ______________________________________________________________ Also I have an idea for recommendation, war horn that can summon our jarls, our stewards, mages, or any commanders would be nice in the future to call them. I always need to talk to my steward or general, and sometimes try to find a certain commander and this would be a lore friendly way and a very unique feature in my humble opinion that would stand out, to get everyone important the player needs together. Just my suggestions/ideas and recommendations. Thanks for reading if you did, appreciate the hard work!

I agree, I liked how the guards spawned in and had set patrols before same as original fort guards. Having a fort commander and garrison is nice though too, but yeah they do just kind of stand there. Wish we still had the option for how they were originally or that they at least would adapt the the fort guards ai packages while being assigned there. Maybe indoor patrols, outdoor patrols, and a fort commander package. Would be nice! I agree with the suggestion and that's my thoughts on it as well.

I should also mention I think I changed stewards after the first negotiations, so it was a different steward for the second. That being said, I just changed back to my old steward to test and see if that would work and the dialogue still wouldn’t commence.

Hi Galvatron, using 0.3.2 and I’m having issues with the negotiations not starting with Tullius. This is what has happened so far: - I negotiated with the imperials and took markarth & 14 days peace - I then played until the ceasefire was expired and declared war again - I set up a camp and took over falkreath - I invited general tullius back for second negotiations in whiterun and he and the legate appear, sit down when I’ve sat down but no dialogue starts - they just sit there in silence staring. Any ideas?

This isnt so much a bug as a suggestion: I personally really enjoyed the forts i capture to have my GUARDS spawn there and take up the ai package of the original guards of the fort. in this new version a garrisoned army stays at the fort but they kinda just stand there... i think keeping your factions guards at the forts from version 1 is a great idea! Not sure if you're able to put it back in but just a suggestion! keep up the good work!

It's just you have 2 different NPC's with different customization options for the same thing, If you do it the way i said it'll it'll conflict with each other

I started by making a camp in the rift. I attacked the rift storm cloak camp (but for some reason it didn't count as me capturing the roads), had a commander and their army follow me to fort greenwall (i didnt use the command board at the camp), then I attacked riften alone and captured it. But I couldn't send an army to reinforce riften or fort greenwall. It was then I noticed the rift camp gone on my map. I told an army to set up camp in the rift (again) and used the command board to order an attack on the camp (2nd time attacking it but I used the board this time). After defeating the camp I officially captured the rift and everything seems to be working. Hopefully that helped, I'll be spending 100s of hours on your mod so I'll help as much as I can!

+1 for the steward not talking to me after sitting on a throne. Could it have anything to do with who is chosen as steward? In a previous 0.2 save I had this issue with Esbern as steward. Back then I loaded a previous save before I started my faction and chose Lydia as my Steward, this time with no issues on 0.2. Currently, with 0.3.2.7 on a new save, I used Esbern again and he still won't talk to me on the throne. I've changed capitals, tried hiring a new steward for the faction, nothing seems to work. I've yet to start over before creating my faction and choose a new steward to see if that fixes the issue, or repeats with Esbern.

My steward is speaking to me normally on my Whiterun throne, so it seems to be sporadic.

One: I was using 0.2 voice files at first then I switch to 0.3. but when I was using 0.2 voice files she still wasn't talking to me. Two: Yes I switch to 0.3.2 yesterday and the problem still persist

For the first problem: Out of curiosity were you using the voice files? I've been trying to figure out why only some people have this problem but I'm not sure if the voice files are the problem.

I encountered two bugs on my playthrough. one: everytime I sit on my throne in whiterun, my stewarrd is not talking to me. two: when I talk to my blacksmith to change my troops armor, it wont pull the menu.

(minor bug) when you assign a custom gear for a specific army (using your 2nd in command's custom option, NOT the blacksmith's custom option) and you give them a sword/shield as well as the armor, it can bug out archers and crossbow soldiers using their weapons (shield hanging on back backwards, ect) might be a small conflict between the 2nd-in-command and the blacksmith's options for custom armor for armies/soldiers. ill keep playing with it, i may edit this comment.

If you're not 100% sure in what order to attack a hold (establishing a camp THEN attacking the enemy camp to clear the roads ect) there are minor bugs with your camp in the hold going away and then you need to re-establish it again. by no means game breaking because it will all still work once you figure it out :D

Followers/soldiers attack Prisoners of war after conquering a camp/ect but the prisoners cant be damaged by the attacks so everyone just sits there and swings at the air lol edit: it seems after a time that stops happening

I can't interact with the camp banner after recruiting the first guard. I keep pressing E but the text box doesn't appear

Fixed the conflict with Saints and Seducers in 0.3.2

When you invade Whiterun Hold your camp is parked right on-top of a Saints camp from Saints and Seducers. Also in the same spot is an incompatibility with Wintersun as one of the shrines is where the command tent is. Of the two the mod conflict is rather minor and doesn't really break anything, just end up with a brazier under the table and some rocks clipping around the edge of the tent. The bandits on the other hand are definitely a problem though as the second you load a fight ensues between the bandits and your troops. Aside from the obvious slaughter of the bandits and your people you'll also have fur tents, misc clutter and a cage right in the middle of your camp.

Oh. Well I guess it's worth a shot for the time being because it'll be pretty annoying selecting the custom option. But yeah I guess I can wait for a new patch to fix it.

Yep it worked if planned by war table, but if you go alone it doesn't and it stays at 50% remaining when going alone. Ah I see you figured it out? Wow alright I'll download the update. And you got the Friendly issue resolved, Excellent work! You work fast. For the second problem with the wood disappearing it hasn't happened again, started another save everything seems fine. No idea why that happened before, very odd. So I would just disregard that possible bug for now. Happy to help! I'll continue testing and report back anything I find. Will download the new update. 0.3.1

I also had the same issue as kilted however i think it started after i accidently clicked the custom troop option on my blacksmith then backed out as after ignoring this option on my new save i was able to upgrade my troops with no issues

Okay so. I think the same as Kilted. I can go up to the blacksmith, talk to him and ask to upgrade my troops that are level 3 in each and they don't seem to be upgraded or were in the process of upgrading so I have no idea but I may ask here as a maybe you guys know how to fix that?

Tried that, didn’t work sadly. I’ve also fired and rehired the blacksmith, tried reverting my army race changes and restarted skyrim a couple times.

Okay try going into the console and typing "stopquest CS_UpgradeTroopsReport" and then "startquest CS_UpgradeTroopsReport" and see if that does anything.

Yep, when I click the option nothing happens and he’s stuck. Then when I press Esc I can get back to other dialogue options. I used the race selection option beforehand too, and now whenever I load a save it says “Updating races… this may take awhile”. Not sure if that’s linked to it potentially. I can give orders etc. and upgrade troops as normal.

So what 0.3 does is change the custom outfit selection into a menu where you select the troop instead of through dialogue. When you select the dialogue option does the blacksmith just ask you what troop you want to edit and then nothing happens and he's stuck? Or does he say it and then goes back to his normal dialogue options?

I’m using patch 0.3.1 Whenever I speak with the blacksmith to set custom outfits, the dialog box doesn’t come up, I have to pres Esc out of the conversation.

For the first one is that just happening when you try to take it by yourself or is it also happening when you plan the invasion from a map? Sounds like they're just not respawning for some reason. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. Will release an update today. For the second, that one is surely weird, never seen that before. I'll investigate. For the third, I'll investigate on my end and see what I find. Seems like for some reason the Stormcloaks are still viewed as an ally to the player faction. EDIT: Figured it out. I forgot to remove the player from the Stormcloak faction. Thanks for the feedback Simdrew it is very helpful!

Hey there, it's me. First off I want to say I'm very happy with the additions you've added, excellent work! The outfits selection for entire government is what I always wanted most, races, prisoners of war, creatures, love the creatures, the added dialogue is a plus, and mages are nice too! The Wood Elf in Whiterun Elrindir who runs the Drunken Huntsman, I took him as a Prisoner, invested in his business $500 gold after, then asked him to empty his pockets and took the money back! LMAO!! :'D Then he said something about how much he hated me... it was hilarious!!! Anyway, very cool! I must say I am a little sad to see you didn't include my last tent I sent you the brown one as well, but it's fine, just disappointing. Anyway the additions are very nice and I was pleased to see the changes, the road battles are cool, much more realistic, strategy is nice..Anyway onto the issues, and I apologize if the text seems off, I noticed Patreon messages tend to screw up if writing a long message. I've seem to have run into some weird problems. ------------------------------------------------- Possible Bug 1, or some unknown mod conflict, unsure gonna make another fresh save. Never had this issue with previous releases. May be only on my end, I'll do more thorough testing later. Was able to take cities and roads fine, forts nope. Whenever I try to take over a fort, I am able to kill up to 50% of the enemy troops, then they no longer spawn, looked inside, outside, everywhere. Used spells and kill all command just to see. There were none. Can't take over the forts. Tried Fort Greymoor near Whiterun I believe is the name and Fort Kastav near Winterhold attacking just myself with overpowered legenday weapons. After all enemies were dead it was down to 50% then no more enemies, if I leave the areas it says failed, even if I come back later after fast traveling there won't be any enemies so it's not possible to take over the forts. Objective pops up again telling me to go capture them, yet I'm unable to. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Possible Bug 2 Alright this one was weird, Had a flag post placed in front of and next to one of the main gates, always placed it there. Then it vanished later, at Halted Stream Camp by Whiterun after I placed my banner, the wood part vanished after I left and came back about a day later. So I could no longer interact with that camps banner. The flag was then still there in place in the air like the wood was there, except it wasn't. Not sure what caused this, and no I hadn't done any console commands like disable or anything like that. Tried to wait, fast travel hoping it would fix it self but it didn't. Haven't noticed any other flag posts vanish anywhere else. May not be a bug, not sure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Possible Bug 3 So I played on an older clean save where the civil war is complete in the Stormcloaks favor, and some are friendly towards you still even after declaring war and slaughtering them. I don't believe I had this issue before. Many will either be hostile or friendly and treat you like your still one of them, it's random. Not a big deal really, just odd. Even after you kill like a hundred they may or may not get angry at all.
