(Which means shifting back to where we were a month ago relative to local time, for everyone living somewhere where daylight savings kick in at the start of March rather than the end. Aren't timezones fun?)

I can see how, technically, Amy can't learn magic or go home on her own, but Starlight Blaze can. Still, unless something big changes, Amy will always be her non transformed state. That still leaves the soul stabilization part as a possibility, i.e. Stabilizing her soul to BE Starlight Blaze from now on, as her base form.
