Responding to DMs (and other things)
Added 2021-08-01 15:00:53 +0000 UTCHello, all! I've been having an issue for a while where people will DM me while I sleep, and since I'm sleeping I don't respond right away. So people get worried and apologize. You don't need to worry! I don't always respond right away, but it doesn't mean you did something wrong. I'll always try to respond to DMs unless it's flirting, a casual convo starter, etc (since discord is the place for casual convos and there simply isn't time to have conversations with everyone one on one).
I've also been seeing a problem where some people ask my permission to halt their patreon subscription, etc. Your money does not belong to me. Please don't forget that you are paying for my audio content, and you may stop paying for it at any time. You don't owe me an apology or explanation :) That goes for all content, really. I spoke with some of my friends about it, and it isn't just a fear of my own. Many of us don't want you spending your money if you can't afford it. Please stay safe and do what is best for you! Maybe I'm the strange one but things would probably go a lot smoother if people treated this with a sense of professionalism because in my view this is like commissioning a person to paint me a picture. The conversations on here should probably be kept to questions, comments, or concerns about the content.
