RWA x Kelt: The Risks and Realities of Fighting for Russia

How do you join the Russian army, gain citizenship, avoid eternal contracts, and stay out of storm units?

In this episode, we speak with Kelt, a Scottish volunteer from the Pyatnashka Brigade, who went from starry-eyed artilleryman to jaded soldier of fortune in less than a year.

We don’t shy away from the darker realities of the war -- or the Russian army's rougher edges. This is a raw, unfiltered look at the risks foreign volunteers face, what traps to avoid, and what Kelt learned the hard way.

This episode was pretty cool. I like the darker themes, they are very grounding. I hope kelt is willing to share some stories in the future when it is safe to do so. I hope everything works out for him and his unit.

Doesn't sound ideal. He seems to have fallen between two stools to use a colloquialism. I am very sympathetic to him, though part of me wonders how wise a move it was in the first place, and I would apply that concern towards any foreigner volunteering in wars between countries they are not from, always, it seems to me, going to be at a disadvantage?
