Here is some recent change list for the modpack!
Added 7 more new NPCs for their own questline and tradings!
Added 1 new landmark building for Highrise Residential.
Added more new shop and restaurant for Retail District.
Added skill books for leveling skill tree faster.
Disabled Blood Moon, as it serves almost no purpose.
Player now lost health permanently when die, capped at minimum 4 hearts.
Skill tree has been revamped again, there are now a total of 7 skill trees.
Combat (Melee Damage, Melee Attack Speed, Knockback)
Precision (Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Ranged Damage)
Defense (Armor Bonus, Armor Toughness Bonus, Dmg Resistance)
Endurance (Max Stamina, Stamina Recovery, Fall Damage Threshold)
Vitality (Extra Health, Bonus Healing, Minimum Health Threshold)
Athlete (Movement Speed, Swim Speed, Melee Dodge Chance)
Spelunker (Mining Speed, Fortune, Extra EXP Gain, Extra Loot from Chest, Reduce Anvil XP Cost)
Added a total of 258 loot tables for existing revamped/new buildings. This is only like 10% of the final total loot table.
Higher tier district mobs now have higher knockback resistance.
TLDR; We will try our best to start the closed beta sometime between Late July - Late August 2025!
Do note that this will NOT be a feature complete beta - the three of us are trying our best to get as much out as possible!
IMPORTANT INFO
The current beta experience is limited to the first 3 districts:
- T1 Suburb Residential
- T2 Highrise Office
- T3 Highrise Hotel
The other districts, while present in the beta, are NOT complete nor balanced and are still missing many new structures: (We only have one builder!)
- T2 Highrise Residential
- T3 Retail District
- T4 Wasteland
As such, please limit feedback (if any) to those three districts, as they are closest to feature complete.
Many guidebook entries, questlines and lore entries are still being worked on!
Expect to have to learn the changed mechanics and mods on the fly until they can be updated.
The closed beta will not have a dedicated server version to prevent distribution and multiplayer outside Patreon channels.
Please do not distribute copies to non-Patreon members.
Do note that access to the beta build will be limited to members who have donated more than $5 total over their time as a member, regardless of tier.
Updated Patreon only beta versions "might" continue to be released as development continues, up to the official open beta and eventual final release.
As of now, the dates for those are still undecided. Please understand that asking us when will not magically make it happen faster.
Competing against the release schedule of much larger modpacks as a team of only 3 developers is extremely difficult, especially as all of us are employed and can only work on this in the limited free time we have. Deceasedcraft remains a passion project driven by our desire to make the best Minecraft apocalypse modpack ever made, and it is our hope that you will understand if updates are less frequent than most in the pursuit for quality.
