2024-12-19 17:27:59 +0000 UTCXmas movies were how my parents realized I was hard of hearing as a child. We watched movies on repeat so I would also recite the lines. But I would recite them 'wrong' because I actually couldn't hear well. Eventually they were like.....she clearly can't hear. For example when kevin said 'dried worm guts' I would say 'dry room nuts' which of course is nonsense.
