2026-03-19 17:16:32 +0000 UTCWe don't know the specifics of course, but in case you forgot, Yoru *did* say the broad overarching reason for her actions. She said before that she *could* have let them all meet as soon as they entered Aqua Terra, and things would still mostly work out in the end. Except! She said them being kept apart as long as possible would net everyone massive power increases that they would not obtain if they met earlier and that those power increases would be necessary for the "best" outcomes. I agree with you though that Noah likely wouldn't be rubbing shoulders with important people here if he had found everyone already. If they met soon enough they may have even all skipped the tournament and dipped right back to the Citadel thingy. The kids prolly wouldn't grow as much either if they had powerful adults/allies to fall back on. Right now they are mostly still responsible for themselves, but once they all meet up Noah will solve major issues for them again and such.

2026-03-19 15:47:38 +0000 UTCI find it suspicious that Yoru is nudging events such, that the Arbalestians slowly meet up again, except for Noah, who's isolated as much as possible from their group (so far) and is instead pushed into influencial people. He only met Tim/Sievan, because Og appeared unpredictably. I'm eager to see everything coming together, why things had to be this way. I think, one of the reasons why he shouldn't meet his pupils and colleagues/staff (he IS headmaster of a school in the beyond) is that he wouldn't bump into important people otherwise, and others might also 'taint' those encounters, instead of getting the desired results.
