2025-09-28 19:59:42 +0000 UTCThe husband annoyed me at first. Then I started seeing things from his side. He has basically become a single parent about 80% of the time, plus working his own job. If he had married her knowing she would be keeping "cop hours", that would be one thing.... but all this started after years of marriage and 3 kids. He wants to be supportive, but he also wants his parenting partner back. Plus, seeing his wife before bedtime a few nights a week. And, having a baby... even without Allison's nightmares waking them, babies never let you sleep through the night. I think he is totally overwhelmed. And she often puts the victims ahead of her kids, which I know is a hazard for cops..... she needs to learn a healthy work/life balance. The kids are always going to remember the events of theirs that Mom missed.
