It’s sad and an ethical quandary. Is she forgiven for rearing the child she stole well? Or is she damned for destroying a family and allowing his parents to suffer the horror of losing their child to a predator until they died?

Hmmmm. Low key sad because her son died from scarlet fever so she'll never even be reunited with him
