sorry I know everyone loves her but Garcia can be so annoying and childish. And it was cute in season 1, but she's part of the FBI, she has a serious big girl job and she should act like one.. :( Hotch was handeling 2 jobs last episode, and now Garcia is offering help. He refuses, so she gives him this nice speech, and he trusts her. And all of a sudden she's overworked like yes of cours (???) And there's no problem in that, but she clearly lacks any competence in human relations, talking to families, or even police in general. It's like JJ's work was so easy anyone could do it... Everyone in the team knows how to handle her, talk to her and all. And it's cute, but at the end of the day... it's a very complicated job so get your shit together lol And when she said "people are going to die bc of me" I felt bad, bc of course it's not YOUR fault. But you taking so long by doing your job + Hotch having to take care of you + Derek having to comfort you IS taking way too much time off of the case. She knows how she is in general, and how being out of that tech lab she has at quantico, so why is she getting out of that ?? She obviously was feeling bad playing this act, and her putting her glasses back on and wearing her usual clothes made her focus and solve the case faster. I could have predicted that before the case starting. She can't deal with field work, being in the middle of an office, having to talk to other people all day (other than the team)... and if she's doing a great job and the FBI is fine with her being this way, then she should be okay too. And not feel the need to "come help the team" as soon as someone leaves. I'm sure all of this was rooted from good feelings, but she should have known better and if I'm being honest, the Garcia act is so old now. How long can you play this clueless act while also working in the FBI for so many years now. I don't care about what clothes she wears, or how unprofessional she sounds when she talks to her colleagues, that's part of the character, but she should know that outside of her comfortable team bubble, she's gonna get hurt. That doesn't mean she needs to change (changing clothes was ridiculous) but she should focus on work.

2025-09-22 08:31:13 +0000 UTCyeah I thought it was a weird assessment to say that the victim was "offering herself" to the unsub because she needed to go "from one man to another" ?? She was obviously just trying a survival instinct, thinking that if she distracted him she could get away, or if she did what he wanted he would let her live. Pretty obvious.

First with not understanding why the one victim would “offer herself” to the unsub after he killed the husband….like hello ma’am you shouldn’t have needed Morgan to explain that one to you…and then with the whole “you don’t know their last names but you have sex with them” comment- like ok Emily that was unnecessary I think 🤨
