2025-08-30 01:49:27 +0000 UTCThe derision with which you said, "Is that a Steelers mug?" LOL! I like this episode. The evidence was interesting (how they found the victims were actually related, how the young woman was pulled off a ladder, the kind of wood her head hit, etc.). And I found the story pretty moving -- I felt really bad for the brother. He was trying to give his wife and child a new life, a better life, and all of it got destroyed. I don't think he should have been deported, but obviously I acknowledge it's a complicated issue. P.S. Love Hodgins imitating Booth in that one scene. Pretty funny! I actually used reference to it in a piece of Bones fanfic I wrote for my friend for her birthday, years ago (she had asked me to write something about Angela and Hodgins as characters, so the piece references some of the early season 1 stuff like this episode -- it was fun to write!)

2025-08-30 01:46:37 +0000 UTCWasn’t a fan of how Booth talked to all the Salvadorans in this ep. Very dismissive of each one, even the woman hiding in a wall with a baby. Like I get that he’s a government official but regardless of your beliefs about illegal immigrantion you could still be a human being and recognize that the people you’re dealing with are also human beings. Would’ve liked to see some admittance of that from him at the end of this one.
