Ross may not be my favourite character (although heβs hilarious in later seasons) but David Schwimmer is definitely my favourite actor out of the six. Heβs fluent in both comedy and drama π

It's also been a while since we had an episode where they acted like they were in a relationship. Pheobe trying to make Monica guess what she had to say was pretty funny too. He cares about Rachel so much, which is why it is so frustrating that he ruined the relationship by doing what he did. I love when they do that joke with Joey and Chandler π€£ And the way they say it, specifically Chandler, is so good! The "Was it how you invented the cotton gin?" joke plays on the historical significance of the cotton gin, invented by Eli Whitney in the late 18th century. I don't think he specifically wore a white suit but it fits with the Southern "old-fashioned" image joke. Btw, while the invention had a profound impact on the American South and its economy, it also had a complex legacy, including its impact on slavery. Also, Chandler's "Easy Lenny" to Joey is a reference to the character Lenny from Of Mice and Men, who got too excited with small animals and accidentally killed them. Fun fact: Matthew Perry was dating Yasmine Bleeth (from Baywatch) during this time.
