Ross really is selfish and so whiny. Only character I'm not keen on and I can see I'm not alone on that. 😂 But I feel so bad for Chandler in this episode, of course it's done for laughs but you can see how much trauma he has from his childhood. 💕

2025-06-02 23:20:50 +0000 UTCHere’s where Ross really bugs me in this whole situation: he cannot accept any personal responsibility. I don’t think he cheated on Rachel, she herself said several times that they were broken up, but that doesn’t necessarily make his actions less hurtful. But he refused to take any accountability for his behaviour throughout (even ”graciously” forgiving Rachel for being mad that he came to her office with a picnic basket when she told him plainly that she did not have time). While they were fighting last episode he blamed Chandler and Joey for not having told her about Chloe himself (doesn’t matter if they suggested it, it was still his decision), he tells her it only happened because he thought she was sleeping with Mark (ie I slept with someone else and you are to blame), and in this episode he tells Carol some fictional tale of Rachel dumping him for Mark. It’s a consistent character trait of his, and it really annoys me. Side-note, I’ve always wondered which of Rachel’s sisters has that cabin. My money is on Jill.
