Having said that, I actually liked this version less Controversial opinion incoming, based on this episode and not knowing where the series goes, but this show does LGBT better and more realistically than Glee ever did. Mo actually feels like a real person I'd be friends with and not a stereotyped caricature of somebody claiming to be fluid

The issues that Mo is going through are something that I have dealt with before and honestly Mo dealt with it better than I have. And good lord, the pipes on Alex are phenomenal. I was so glad to find this series because after Glee, I couldn't get enough of Alex.
