2025-05-21 17:49:14 +0000 UTCRoss IS really annoying in these last few episodes. He is very co-dependent on Rachel and he is also quite controlling. I can understand feeling like your significant other is slipping away but his jealousy is HIS problem and it is HIS responsibility to fix it. His behaviour implies that for a woman to have a career or a male friend is somehow akin to a betrayal and I really hate how much the show wants us to empathise with him. It really does seem like he preferred it when she was a waitress because it was easier for him, regardless of how unfulfilled she was. The thing is, he looked down on her for her job back then, but when she has one that makes her seem more like an equal, he feels threatened by it. It’s just really selfish and manipulative behaviour. Fun facts: Leslie, Phoebe's ex-partner, is played by Elizabeth Daily (often credited as E. G. Daily), who sang in the dub over Lisa Kudrow in the Smelly Cat music video back in 2x17. As others have mentioned, she is best known for her voice-over work in animation. Ginger "the movie star" Monica mentioned refers to a character also named Ginger in the sitcom Gilligan's Island. Monica sings a bit from the theme song. The rest of the song goes "the professor and Mary Anne, here on Gilligilan’s isle." Btw, I think hole package is just referring to there being a "hole" in her 🦵🏻.

Leslie is played by EG Daly who voiced Tommy Pickles in Rugrats and was also Dottie in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. She auditioned for The Voice one season too but didn't make it far on that show.
