As the girls leave, you can see the candles at the show are in the formation of an A. Then A orders a black pair of designer boots online - the same shoes Dr. Sullivan was wearing in 2x01 (though that's obviously not something people notice). Still a bit of an age difference between Aria and Jason but he wasn't her teacher so it's not AS bad but still... Btw, the girls sometimes call Alison "Ali". And yeah, Emily's parents' sudden turnaround, especially her mum, is kinda lazy writing. Fun facts: Anne Marie DeLuise played Jessica (Alison's mum) in the pilot, but was replaced by Andrea Parker. The TRESemme product placement was a bit much considering it was apparently usually advertised during PLL commercial breaks and commercials with Hanna & Mona in character 😂

NOT A SPOILER but for future reference here's a list of their ages -the gurls are juniors in hs. At the very start they are 16, so they're currently 16/17. -Melissa, Ian, Garrett, Jason - all graduated together. Six years older than the girls (give or take one could hypothetically have stayed back a year, etc.). They are 22-23 ish. -Ezra - 24 in pilot, so now 24/25. Side note it's INSANE to think that at 14/15 Ali was hooking up with all those older guys like literally wtf they were meant to be all over 21 when she went missing.
