Yeah, for the past few episodes, Ross has been doing way too much when it comes to Rachel and Mark. The jealously is really showing. He purposefully went up to that stripper just to piss Rachel off. Joey’s dancing got me crying 😂😂😂 he and Chandler always do it for me, and even Phoebe at times too.

2025-05-17 09:19:20 +0000 UTCI totally agree the two situations are not the same. Ross is annoying to me most of the time though but particularly these past two episodes yeah.

2025-05-15 17:40:29 +0000 UTCI think Ross was justified in the last episode but here he was totally out of line. To me it shows he doesn’t trust Rachel which is a major red flag. The situations Joey gets himself in are hysterical 😭

2025-05-14 17:11:03 +0000 UTCI agree, not the same situations at all. Also, Rachel's point that, regardless of Mark (or any man), Ross should trust HER. I get that he has trust issues because of Carol, but those are HIS issues that HE needs to work on. Rachel is not Carol. Fun facts: Carlos Gómez who plays Julio had just been in Fools Rush In, a rom-com starring Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, when this was filmed. The movie was shot between filming S2 & 3 of Friends. Matthew's dad IRL also played his dad in the movie. And, ironically, in an episode whose title and plot are about jealousy, Gunther wears a bright green shirt as he watches Rachel and Ross on the couch - he's literally 'green with envy'.

2025-05-14 09:40:59 +0000 UTCRoss was such a hypocrite at the end lol

2025-05-14 08:18:44 +0000 UTCI always thought of Ross as childish and below Joey's intelligence level.

2025-05-14 05:09:23 +0000 UTCNot the same situation at all! And almost makes you wonder if he didn't try on purpose to make Rachel jealous. So annoying.

2025-05-14 03:58:47 +0000 UTCMe and the rest of us in the Friends Discord chat thread have been patiently waiting for you to turn on Ross lmao. So this reaction was satisfying. He's a manipulative jerk frankly. He's insanely jealous over Mark, with no reason to be what so ever, so he does something genuinely iffy to make Rachel jealous to get back at her. So childish and a massive red flag for me in a partner. 🤷 But I did still enjoy the episode, Joey really is hilarious, I love his dance. 😂

2025-05-14 03:42:15 +0000 UTCYeah it would be one thing if he met this woman while she wasn't working and then they set up a playdate, but while she was stripping? And then the show tries to gaslight you into thinking that they're both "equally jealous".
