How have I watched this episode a million times and not realized that the Brown Bird leader is Finn's mom?! 🙊 But yeah this is probably the weakest episode of the season for me. Not very funny. Plus all the fat jokes with Monica felt a bit uncomfortable, as did that little girl spending so much time alone with strange men. 😬

2025-05-06 20:44:15 +0000 UTCRoss was so sweet to that little girl, although, not so much to the little girl at the brown bird meeting lol. I think Pheobe is adorable with all her weird eccentricities and such, but she is a very high maintenance friend that I couldn't deal with in real life 😂😂😂

2025-05-06 15:31:18 +0000 UTCI love Joey and Chandler but they don't give the best advice 😂 Quitting without having another job lined up was bad advice, because you have no money come in and you start getting desperate and need a job quick, so you start applying and taking any job you can find. It's always better to look for your dream job while you still have your current job. You need financial security first, then you can be picky and start applying for stuff you like. Also, it's interesting how we got both the best and worst of Ross in this episode. What he did to Monica wasn't cool but what he did for the girl was so sweet. He's inherently a good person though. And yeah, letting a grown strange man be alone with your child is weird but they established at least her dad seemed neglectful. Fun facts: The girl from The Brown Birds is played by Mae Whitman who's been in movies such as Independence Day, One Fine Day, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Duff and a TV show called Parenthood. She's also voiced a lot of characters in animations and video games, most notably as Katara in the anime Avatar: The Last Airbender. And yes, that is Romy Rosemont who played Finn's mum on Glee 👍🏻 When Chandler tells Joey to "Run Joey, Run!" it is a reference to the song of the same name by David Geddes (and was famously covered on Glee 🤣). Matthew Perry was actually a nationally ranked tennis player in Canada at the age of 13.
